Managing Difficult Situations and Conflict with
Parents

Course Summary
This half-day or one-day workshop is designed to
help headteachers and teachers enhance their skills in dealing with
parental concerns, complaints, criticism and aggression. It combines
use of DVD situations with workbook activities, discussion,
theoretical principles and trainer input.

scenarios show teachers handling a wide variety of difficult situations
- examples of good and bad practice
illustrate the underlying principles and provide the basis for lively
discussion
- individual and group workbook
activities guide the analysis of behaviours and lead to the development
of a skills model/framework for handling complaints and aggression
